The legendary mint shot from the finnish Himalayas.
Minttu arrived during the harsh winter of 1956 and delivered a merkki rohkeudesta (badge of courage) to combat a mysteriour creature lurking in the finnish wildness.
In 1972, the finnish exploration society sent a group of scientists an a reconnaissance mission into the foothills of Mount Minttu to track and catch the Isokäsi (bighand). While all returned safely, the 17 scientists have remained silent to this day.
The National Finnish Geographic Society has never granted Mount Minttu (6,842m) official status due to a dispute concerning its actual location.
